JOHN LAUDERBACK
John Lauderback died at the home of his son west of this city on Tuesday morning after an extended illness. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Thompson, of Russell, were held yesterday morning at nine o'clock, after which the remains were interred in the Chariton cemetery.
John Lauderback was born in Madison county, Indiana, in 1934. He came to Lucas county in the spring of 1877 and located near Newbern. He afterward moved to Chariton and resided here about two years. He was stricken with paralysis about two years ago and has since resided five miles west of Chariton with his son, H. W. Lauderback.
He leaves a wife and five sons to mourn his death. One daughter and three sons died in infancy.
