James C Barkyoumb, 42 of 73 Montgomery St., died Sunday in his home. He was born in Georgia Vermont, son of Charles and Emma (Gilbeau) Barkyomb. He had been a resident here for 16 years and emoployed by the Osley and Whitney Co. He was a veteran of World War 2, serving in the Seabees. Besides his wife, the former Rosemarie Iserman and parents of Simsbury, Conn, he leaves two sons, Jerry J., serving with the Marines in Vietnam and Timothy R., at home., a daughter, Marie O., at home, five brothers, William of Southwick, Orie of Cropseyville, NY, Stephen of Maryiaville, NY, Wellington of Agawam and Maxie of Blandford; seven sisters, Mrs Marlene Carney of New Britain, Conn, Mrs Melvina Doner of Underhill, Vt, Mrs Marjorie Destromp of Underhill, Vt, Mrs Leona Peatman of Middlesex Vt, Mrs Jacqueline Brida of Rockville Conn, Joanne Chmielecki of Rockville Conn, Mrs Matilda Destromp of Simsbury Conn., Several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 8 at Robert E Cusack Funeral Home with a requiem high mass at 9 in Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 2-4 and 7-9.
