Mrs. Henrietta Fant Mims, age 82 of Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at The Woods.
Mrs. Mims was born in Shawmut, Alabama on April 19, 1934.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Jackson Fant and Mattie Lee White Fant; husband, Robert Dean Mims; sister-in-law, Nancy Fant; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Mims.
Survivors include her son, Michael Mims of Griffin; daughter, Cynthia Coldiron and husband, Mike of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Jason Dean Mims and wife, Casey of Griffin, Landon Clay Coldiron and Alison Dean Coldiron of Greenville, NC; brother, Lee Fant, Jr.; sister, Sarah Kathryn Guinn and husband, Larry of Conway, AR; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Henrietta F. Mims will be on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11:00am at Griffin First Baptist Church. Dr. Bill Hardee will officiate. Interment will follow in the old section of Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to the First Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund, P.O., Box 908, Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mrs. Mims.
