Brown Ferrell Dead
Lived Many Years in Hamilton and Had Resided in the State of Montana Sixty Years.
Brown Ferrell, a former resident of the Bitter Root valley, died at his home in Pony according to word received here. He owned a place in the Doran addition, which he sold last year. He was a pioneer of the state, coming to Montana in 1863. He was the father of Mrs. M J. Flaherty and Mrs. Flangan of Spokane, Joseph Ferrell of Bozeman, Mrs. Fred Smith and Clarence Farrell of Pony, Mrs. McCauley of Harrison and Frank Ferrell of Maryland.
