Virgie Nelson McCann, 82, of Roxboro, died Sunday, May 29, 2016. Born in Nelson County, VA, Mrs. McCann was the daughter of the late John Nelson and Berta Lowery Nelson.
Mrs. McCann was a member of Ca-Vel Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Claude A. McCann; three children: Donald Allen McCann (Bunny) of Newport News, VA, Cecil Ray McCann (Donna) of Virgilina, VA, and Carol Frances McCann of Richmond, VA; five grandsons, Nelson, Brian, Kevin, Andrew, and Luke.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Ca-Vel Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Ca-Vel Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Long. Burial will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery.
