DAVENPORT - Services for Virgie C. Stewart, of Davenport, will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary and Crematory, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stewart died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at her home. Virgie Shumaker was born June 6, 1943, in Davenport. She married Albert Stewart in 1964 in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the Maranatha Church of God, Davenport. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Cynthia Stewart, Bettendorf; a son, Robert Stewart, Davenport; five grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Coffman, Davenport; and a brother, Leon Shumaker, Davenport.
