Thomas P. Beebe was born in Harmar, Washington Co., O., June 20, 1804, died Feb. 22, 1890, at the residence of James R. Power, near Watertown. He was sick only seven days with typhoid pneumonia. He was married to Miss Catharine Skipton, March 10, 1830. He joined the M.E. church in 1834 under the ministry of Rev. James Austins and continued a faithful member for 56 years and died in the triumphs of the Christian religion. His aged companion and four children attended his funeral which was held in the M. E. church. Two daughters, one in Kansas and the other in Indiana, were not present. Mr. and Mrs. James Power wish to extend their grateful thanks for the kindness and sympathy shown them at the time of the sickness, death and burial of their aged father, Thomas Beebe.
