Alma Zona "A.Z." Woodliff, 91, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, at Rosemound Cemetery. The Rev. Michael O. Patterson will officiate.

A.Z. was born in Mart, Texas, to the late Grady and Cordie Pearson. She attended Waco public schools and graduated from Waco High School, class of 1933. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family and friends, and always expected everything to be eaten. She was actively involved in PTA during her son's school years. A longtime member of Western Heights Baptist Church, she was a faithful member of the Gleaners Class. She always had a smile for everyone and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "Charlie" Milton; brothers: Thurman, Curtis, and Alvie Brown; and sister, Delma Jaeger.

Survivors include her son, Charles H. and his wife, Doris; grandchildren, Greg Woodliff and his wife, Kass, of St. Louis, Mo., Lisa Campbell and her husband, Doug, of McKinney, and Davin Woodliff and his wife, Kim, of Waco; great-grandchildren: Clark and Kendall Woodliff, Elissa and Eli Campbell, Dalton Woodliff, and Ashley and Aaron Randolph; brother, D. H. Brown, of Portland, Oregon; other relatives and many friends.
