Mr. Woodliff was born in Waco on March 23, 1914.
He married Alma (A.Z.) Pearson in Waco on July 4, 1936.
During WWII in the pacific campaign he served in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of Waco Typographical Union for 50 years and served as president of Local Union No. 188. He retired March 31, 1978 from Waco Tribune Herald Newspaper after 50 years. He was a member and deacon of Third Street Baptist church, and for 35 years was member and deacon of Western Heights Baptist church. He was a longtime class secretary/treasurer for the M.V. Ray Bible class at church.
Survivors include: wife of Waco; son, Charles H. Woodliff of Robinson TX; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
