A resident of Livingston passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing. He was 86.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Denham Springs, beginning at 10:00am. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm and officiated by Pastor Ken Blundell. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
He is survived by son, Tommy Blount and wife Kahne, of Wickes, AR, three daughters, Margie Blount, Peggy Howard and Linda Graves, all of Livingston, ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and sister, Leona Miller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Blount, parents, George and Bernice Jones Blount, four brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be, Joey, Robert, David and Timmy Blount, Stephen Howard, Doug Landry and Sammy and Dustin Graves.
He was a lifelong member of the Denham Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church.
