Samuel Doolittle was my 4th greatgrandfather. He was born in Middletown, CT. He died in 1813 in Allegheny, NY. He was the son of Samuel Doolittle and Elizabeth Hubbard. Husband of Anne Arnold. Father of seven including my 3rd great grandfather Ebenezer Doolittle. He served in the American Revolution along with 3 of his brothers and father. He served with Capt. Smith's Co. Wadsworth Brigade, 26 Jun-28 Dec 1776. After the war he settled in Alleghany Co., NY. His decendants moved to northwest Ohio, northern Indiana, and Michigan.
