Hazel Elliott Garriott Drummond, 89, of Monroe, Walton County, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Mrs. Drummond was preceded in death by her parents, William Newt Elliott and Pearl Fredonia Wilbanks Dorris Elliott; ex-husband, Frank Legrand Garriott, Jr.; second husband, King Thomas Drummond; half-sisters, Lillian Sarah Dorris York, Hollie Leonia Elliott Smith, Pearl Myrtle Elliott Chumbler, Ruth Elizabeth Elliott Duckett, Rhonda Lois Elliott Hammond, Vernice Hattie Elliott Rice, and Edna Levice Elliott Simonton; and half-brothers, William Dorris, Henry Brackett Elliott, and Von Newt Elliott.

Hazel is survived by a son; a daughter; two sisters; one granddaughter; one half-sister; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Monroe, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Reverend Dr. Dane G. Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Covington, Georgia.
