Vietta Gottfried, age 89, of Fonda, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at The Fonda Nursing and Rehab Center in Fonda, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at 11 a.m. at The United Church of Christ in Fonda. Burial will be at Cedar Cemetery, Fonda. There will be an Eastern Star Service at 5 p.m. today at the Mahaney Funeral Home.
She is survived by 3 sons, Ernest of San Antonio, Texas, Alan and wife Linda of Schertz, Texas, and Barton and wife Jayme of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mahaney Funeral Home in Fonda, is in charge of arrangements.
