LOUIS VIAN

SPARTA, Wis. - Louis Vian, R. 4, Sparta, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Wood Hospital in Milwaukee.

Services will be held at Lanham's Mortuary Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. O. M. Skindrud will officiate, and burial will be in Farmers Valley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the mortuary Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday until the time of service.

Mr. Vian is survived by his widow, the former Emma Johnson; six sons, Engvald and Walter of Milwaukee, Harold of Tomah, Louis Jr., Eugene and Don, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy) Kennedy, La Crosse, Mrs. Harley (Lila) Stark, Barre Mills, Mrs. Harland (Joyce) Swanson, Spata and Frances, at home; one brother, Frank Cataract; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Monfort, Sparta, and Mrs. Laura Giesler, La Crosse; 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
