She was a resident of the Life Care Center of Banner Elk, North Carolina at the time of her death.
She was born to Wilson Hollars and Buna Earp Hollars.
Mrs. Davis is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; one granddaughter and husband; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Patricia Willetts of Greensboro, North Carolina; special great niece Marty Rominger; as well as other numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by life-long friend Mavis Posey. The family also wishes to acknowledge the loving friendship of Mary Tunnell.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Ralph Clent Davis. Also waiting to greet her in Heaven are her parents; her infant sister Gloria; brother Creed Hollars; sisters Phyllis Dotson and her husband, McDonald Dotson, Grace Fabisak, and special friend Stella Lawrence.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Zionville, NC.
