Mrs. Ella Jowell, 65, died at the home of her daughter in Breckenridge, Texas. The body was taken to Hereford, Texas where services were held at the First Christian Church. Mrs. Jowell had been a member of the Christian Church for a number of years.

Survived by her daughters - Mrs. R.C. Thornton, Mrs. E.A. Shotwell, Mrs. R.H. Anderson; two brothers - Sam Lowe and M.H. Lowe; four sisters - Mrs. Dora Wise, Alice Fredrick, Mrs. W.K. James; four grandchildren - Mrs. B.B. Athey, Billy Thornton, Charles Shotwell, Merle Shotwell; one great-grandchild - Marion Athey.
