Gray thoroughbred racehorse. Caro raced successfully in France and England in Graded Stakes but is best known as a sire in both France and the United States. He was the sire of 78 stakes winners including his son Cozzene, winner of the 1985 Breeders' Cup Mile, his daughter Winning Colors, winner of the 1988 Kentucky Derby and son With Approval, the 1989 Canadian Triple Crown champion. Another son, Crystal Palace won the 1977 French Derby and was the Leading sire in France in 1985.
