Marvin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was a person who loved being in the country and outdoors. He served our country in the Vietnam War in 1968 through 1974. (A big thank you for your services). He loved to hunt, trap, fish, the mountains, prospecting and spending time with family. He had the deepest love for his grandson, Ricky Braman.
He worked in the oilfield as a roughneck for 20 years and also a welder. He has traveled to a lot of the states in our country including Alaska and also Canada.
Marvin has published four books: Never Again, Uncle Sam, Adventures Through Life, The Scare Bear, and Dreams of Reality. He also wrote some songs.
He had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, we will treasure all our memories together. We love you.
He is survived by his only daughter, Micah (Rick) Braman; only grandson, Ricky Braman; ex-wife, Leeann; sisters, Beverly Richens, Verna (Keith) Peterson, sister-in-law, Alice Richens, and Vickie (Jim) Chadwick; nieces and nephews, Travis Richens, Nik Kayes, Lisa Atwood, J J Atwood, Kisha Nielson, Chasetin Nielson, Jared Peterson, Rhett (Chauntue’) Peterson, Taylor Peterson, Haegen Peterson, Bryce Peterson, Clint Peterson, Troy Gregory, Dusty (David) Riding, Trevor (Jolene) Staley, Kingston Staley, Kaylee Staley, Ivorie Staley, Hod Staley, Freddy Lafave, Michelle (Ray) Dumas, Jackie (Ryan) Yamaguchi, Andrea (Robin) Anderson, Jax Anderson, and Sophie Anderson.
Funeral will be held Saturday, May 21, at 3:00 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. A viewing for family and friends will be Saturday from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to services at the Mortuary.
