Anna D. Adsit Sprague October 19, 2006

Anna D. Adsit Sprague, retired teacher, of Eden Heights Assisted Care, Olean, NY , a former resident of Redfield and Cuba, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2006, in the Waters of Houghton following a short illness, she was 103.

Mrs. Sprague was a teacher in the Redfield area for many years retiring in 1958.

She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Peter) Sprague, Norman (Arlene) Adsit; a stepson, John D. Sprague; numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Redfield Community Church, Redfield on Monday, October 23, 2006 from Noon to 1 p.m. at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Robert Pennock, one of her nephews, will officiate. Burial will be in Redfield Community Cemetery, Redfield, New York.

Memorial suggestions include floral arrangements or to the Association for the Blind.
