She had been a resident of John Knox Village in Pompano Beach since moving there with her husband, Clint, in 1994. Prior to that they had lived in Parkland, Ft. Lauderdale and Memphis, TN.
She is survived by two sons, Clint III and Robert, who both live in Broward County. Two of her four grandchildren, Clint IV and Cynthia (Missy) live in Boca Raton. Her third grandchild, Christina McClimans, lives with her husband Corey in Savannah, GA and her remaining grandchild, David, lives in Maco, GA. She is also survived by her great-grandson, Alexander, and her sister, Martha Faye Schlegal.
She was a very gentle soul who loved her family and always wanted what was best for them. Both her family and her many friends will remember her love, her compassion, her kindness and her simple dignity whenever they reflect on the times that they spent with her. She was quite a lady and all of us will miss her.
She will be buried in Memphis, TN.
The family requests that you send donations to the Second Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale in lieu of flowers.
