Jane Mock Johnston, 73, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family under the care of Georgia Hospice Care. She was born December 4, 1942 to Benson and Olifay Bacon Mock and has lived in Glennville and Ludowici all of her life. She was retired from the Long County Board of Education as a payroll clerk, and secretary. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener that loved to cook and care for her family. She was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Adrin Mock.
She is survived by:

Children, Denise Walker (Edward) of Ludowici, Georgia
Thomas Johnston (Chris Riley) of Johns Creek, Georgia
Brothers, Edsel J. Mock
Van Mock (Virginia) all of Glennville, Georgia
Granddaughter, Deona Carter (Chris)
Great Grandchildren, Christopher and Alex Carter
Several other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Beards Creek Church Cemetery.
