Mrs. Clarence Fazenbaker
LONACONING -- Mrs. Jane McCormick Fazenbaker, 68, wife of Clarence Fazenbaker, of here, died last night in Miner's Hospital, Frostburg.
A native of Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late George and Lora (Fazenbaker) McCormick.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Gladys Warnick, Grantsville; Mrs. Marian Fazenbaker and Mrs. Thelma Broadwater, both of here; William Fazenbaker, Westernport, and Marshall Fazenbaker, also of here; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; four sister, Mrs. Isabelle Foote, Mrs. Alice Moffatt, both of here; Mrs. Beatrice Bender, Frostburg; and Mrs. Velma Knatz, Baltimore; and a brother, George McCormick, of here.
The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ben Hartley.
*** According to the 1920 census, Jane was 18. This age also fits according to family records. I believe the age 68 was a typo and the correct age would have been 58 and that she was born in 1902.
***Also, the children mentioned in the above obituary are not her biological children. They were her step-children.
