"MRS. HARRY P. SCHOMMER
Mrs. Harry P. Schommer, 67, 718 W. Lawrence street, died at her home early this morning after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Schommer was born in Appleton, Jan. 24, 1885, and spent 54 years of her life here. The other 13 years were spent in Milwaukee. A member of St. Joseph catholic church, she belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis, the Christian Mothers society and Ladies' Aid society and was a member of the Monte Alvero Retreat House guild.
She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Ambrose Lingnowski, Menasha, Mrs. Cyril Lippert, Appleton, Mrs. Duane Raiche, Neenah, and Mrs. George Webster, Fond du Lac; two sons, Harry A., Menasha, and Robert, Appleton; four brothers, Leo H. Rechner, Appleton, John and George Rechner, Wauwatosa, Anthony Rechner, Whitefish Bay; and four sisters, Mrs. Mark F. Pfaller, Wauwatosa, Mrs. John Bishop, Davenport, Iowa, Sister M. Theophila, Waterloo, Iowa, and Sister M. Adelaide, Pueblo, Colo. Eight grandchildren also survive.
Friends may call at the Brettschneider Funeral home from 7 o'clock Saturday evening until the cortege forms at 8:30 Monday morning. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 and 8 o'clock on both Saturday and Sunday evenings. A requiem funeral mass will be said at 9 o'clock Monday morning and burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery."
