Brunner R.N., Violet M. Passed away in Sarasota, at the age of 94. Her parents were Henry and Pauline (Eurich) Boltz. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1939 and from Saginaw General School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1942. She loved her chosen field of nursing and worked in the old St. Lukes Hospital on Janes, the nursing office of St. Lukes Cooper, and also as a RN in a family physicians office. She married Joseph Dvorsek in 1942; he predeceased her in 1967. She then married Bruce Brunner on August 15, 1970; he predeceased her in 2013. Violet was an active member of Bridgeport Community Church and their Ladies Guild, Saginaw General Hospital Alumni Association, Elk's Lodge Auxiliary #47, PTA's, VFW Post #47 Life Member, National Auxiliary, Rainbow Division Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed Gift Box, bazaars, Harvest Dinners, and the Euchre group at Bridgeport Community Church. Vi will be remembered for her love of helping others and devoting 33 years to nursing. She is survived by her children, Marilynn Armstrong, Joyce (Peter) Makrianis, Corine (Dave) Freeborg, Debra (Greg) O'Connell, Barbara (Ed) Auzins; grandchildren, Robert Armstrong, Adrienne (Dean) Smith, Melissa (Chris) Meyer, Lionel Frady, Aaron (Christina) Auzins, Amanda (Ryan) Sell, Melanie (Rebecca Dunn) Auzins, Jennifer (Kyle) Williams, Jessica (Brian) Freeborg, Timothy (Emira) O'Connell, Christopher O'Connell; great-grandchildren, Tayler Smith, Payton Herron, Kai and Kenji Auzins, Gavin O'Connell, and Jodie Meyer; beloved sister Deanna (Kay) Marner; her loving niece, that the family would like to thank for all the care she provided to Vi, JoAnne Hunter; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Frady; and her siblings, Gerald Boltz, Irene (Clarence) Jenkins.
