Bessie Olive Johnson was the daughter of Bessie Olive Griffin and Jesse Bynum Johnson, born in Branson, Missouri on Compton Ridge. She is the mother of Dennis Ray, Shirley Kay, Rodney James, Donald Ross, and Mary Beth Harmon with her first husband James Ray Harmon. Her husband James Ray and her children Kay, Rod and Don preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Kenneth of the home. She is also survived by her children Denny Harmon of Aurora, Missouri, Mary Harmon Simpson of South Carolina and Peggy Susan Williamson of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Her children who remain are heartbroken over her death but rejoicing that she has gone to her heavenly home.
