Adam Himmel, old and well known resident of Middle Village, died at his home on Furman avenue last Saturday in the sixty-sixth year of his age, of pneumonia, after an illness of only a week. Mr. Himmel had resided in Middle Village for the past twenty-five years and had many friends throughout that locality, all of whom will greatly deplore his death. The funeral services were held yesterday, and they were very largely attended. The internment was made in St. John's Cemetery. Mr. Himmel leaves a wife and two sons and one daughter to mourn his loss.
