P.M. BRIGANCE

Services for P. M. Brigance, 78, will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the McClure Chapel of First Methodist Church, conducted by Dr. Edwin Parker. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Brigance, 814 Mulberry, died Sunday morning in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 4, 1891 in Barton, Miss. and had been a resident of Ardmore since 1913. He married Bess Graham Aug. 26, 1911 at Anadarko.
Brigance was for many years associated with the Amos Drilling Co. He was a member of First Methodist Church, a 32nd degree Mason, member of the Ardmore Shrine Club, and the Lions Club. He was a former mayor and city commissioner of Ardmore.
Serving as bearers will be M. K. Patterson, Charles Dobbins, Ford Simmons, Curtis Williams, E. A. Plume and Winston Coffman.
Survivors include his wife, Bess of the home; two sons, Robert P. of Silver Springs, MD., Edwin G., of Mineral Wells, Tex; a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Cralle, of Okla City; a sister, Mrs. Sue Nichols, of Okla City; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be directed by the Harvey Funeral Home.
