Charles B. Eastburn, retired farmer formerly residing in the vicinity of Fremont died at his home, 713 Third Avenue East, at 6 o'clock Wednesday evening after two weeks' serious illness at the age of 82 years.
He had been in poor health for some time. Surviving are the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Velna Rhinehart of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Ethel Henry of Pleasant Plain; one son, Harry Eastburn of Sigourney, and one brother, W. T. Eastburn of Oskaloosa.
Funeral services at the Fremont Methodist Church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial in the Cedar Township Cemetery.
