Virginia D. Ehler, 80, Rio, died at 12:07 p.m. Sunday October 22, 2000 in Galesburg Terrace Nursing Center, Galesburg.
She was born December 27, 1919, in Tamaroa, the daughter of Otto and Cecil Weaver Livingston.
She married Charles Ehler on Feb. 10, 1937 in Pinckneyville. He died September 2, 1991.
Surviving are two dauighters, Barbara Leafgreen and Lolly Swanson, both of Rio; one son, Leslie W. Ehler, Knoxville; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather and one sister.
A homemaker, she lived in the Rio area since 1941.
She was a memebr of Rio Presbytereian Church and its services guild.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Pterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home, Alpha, with Rev. David Dennis officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rio Baptist Cemetery.
