Clarice Mildred Blake Howard, 90, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Clarice retired with 37 years of service with the Department of Interior.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kinston Ward, where she enjoyed researching her family history and genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Grover Cleveland and Sadie May Blake and five siblings. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, May 8 at Garner Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Carey Road with Bishop Bruce Reese presiding. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
