Born at Loop Creek, March 4, 1893, he was the son of the late Lewis and Molly Phillips Blake.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie May Blake; three sons, Kenneth G. C. Jr. of Oak Hill, Jack of Dayton, Ohio, and Donald of Delaware, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Vogel of Lakewood, N.J., Mrs. Clarice Howard of Hyattsville, Md., and Mrs. Betty Watson of Norfolk, Va.; one brother, Dennis Blake of Beckley; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tyree Funeral Home at Oak Hill with Rev. Allan Gallimore in charge. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park at Oak Hill.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday.
