Nancy May married William P. Nelson on 28 February 1822 in Gallatin County, Kentucky.
On 14 January 1837 William P. Nelson sold 40 acres and 50 acres of land to his younger brother, Loyd Allen Nelson and wife, Nancy Collier Nelson, for $500 in Bartholomew County, Indiana. Nancy May Nelson didn't sign release of dower, but was interviewed by John Jackson, justice of the peace.
On the 1830 census for Bartholomew County William NMI Nelson has a family consisting of three males and one female under 5 and one female 5 to 9.
A family tree on Ancestry.com states William P. Nelson, son of Samuel Nelson and Nancy Allen, died in 1837, but didn't say where.

Nancy married George Roland 20 June 1847 in Bartholomew County. She can be found in her daughter's (Jemima Collier) household in 1860,
