Son of Gabriel May & Susanna Stokes. He married Gilla Stigler on June 2, 1801 in Nelson Co, KY.

Their children:

1. Henry May born about 1800-1810.

2. Nancy May born about 1803. She married William B. Nelson in 1822 in Gallatin Co, KY.

3. Susan May born about 1805.

4. Matilda May born about 1807. She married #1-_____ Orme; #2-Francis Miller in 1827 in Gallatin Co, KY.

5. Charles Allen May born July 21, 1809 and died September 12, 1877. He married Sarah Trout on May 25, 1834 in Gallatin Co, KY.

6. Gillie May born about 1810.

7. Luticia May born about 1815-1820.

8. Gabriel May born 1820 and died 1908 in Dupont, Jefferson Co, IN. He married Mary Ann Trout in 1848 in Trimble Co, KY.

9. Humphrey May born about 1821.

10. Malinda May born December 10, 1824. She married George Washington Wyatt.โˆผ

I am terribly sorry to the family for the damage that was caused from shaving cream which was sprayed on the headstones in this cemetery.
