Charles Louis "Chuck" Arickx, of Wayne, Nebraska died on Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home in Wayne, Nebraska after a long battle with cancer. Chuck was born on August 31, 1945 in Osage, Iowa, the son of Raymond, Sr. and Juanita M. (Adams) Arickx.
After graduating from high school, Charles joined the United States Air Force, and served from 1967 until 1971. He later attended school at the Hawkeye Institute of Technology and Wayne State College. On March 19, 1986, Chuck was united in marriage to Debbie Beeson in Greeley, Colorado. To this union two children were born: Corissa and David.
He worked in several places over the years including Minneapolis, Minnesota, Greeley and Colorado Springs, Colorado before moving to Wayne, Nebraska where he worked for Vakoc and then for Heritage Homes for the past 22 years.
Chuck is survived by: wife of 27 years, Debbie Arickx of Wayne, Nebraska; daughter, Corissa Arickx of Alaska; son, David Arickx of Wayne, Nebraska; sister, Janice (Elmer) Schonrock of Winnebago, Minnesota and brothers, Mark Arickx of Osage, Iowa and Ray Arickx, Jr. of St. Ansger, Iowa and a host of family and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by: parents, Ray and Juanita Arickx, Sr.; brother, Donald Arickx and sisters-in-law, Wendy Arickx and Carol Arickx.
