BUCKLIN-- Judith "Judy" Ann Austin, 79, passed away on Wednesday,April 27,2016 peacefully at her home in Bucklin.
She was born October 2,1936 to Fred and Alma (Schiffendecker) Russell. On October 16,1955 she married Roy B. Austin in Dodge City. He survives.
She worked most of her life at the Bucklin Coop and Bucklin Grain. After retirement, she volunteered by delivering the mail to the residents at Hill Top House. She often spent afternoons volunteering at the Hill Top House Budget Shop. She always enjoyed looking after her older friends in town.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; 2 sons, Robert and Roger both of Bucklin; her sister, Jane Naylor and husband Russ of Newton; her sister-in-law, Ruby Russell of Newton; and 3 granddaughters, Courtney, Charmayne and Bretta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Russell and her daughter, Vicki Leann Austin.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday,April 30,2016 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church with Rev. Dick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Bucklin Cemetery.
