Doeritha Shores was born Sunday, March 8, 1807, at home in Taunton, Bristol County, MA. She was the daughter of Jonathan Shores and Charlotte Cobb.
She married Ebenezer Heath Sunday, June 24, 1827, in Ira, Cayuga County, NY. They would be married 31 years, 4 months, and 27 days.
Six children were born to this union: Emeline, Benjamin S., Charlotte, Lydia, Lovina, and Eunice.
The family moved to Washtenaw and then Oakland County, MI.
She died Saturday, November 20, 1858 at home in Lyon Township, Oakland County, MI, aged 51 years, 8 months, and 12 days.
Doeritha was buried in New Hudson Cemetary in Lyon Township.
