Mr. Bobby was the loving husband of Beatrice B. Cooper; the father of Cindy Cooper, Becky Odom, Joey J. Miller, Renee (Jim) Olenick, Ledosta (Tony) Bell and the late Barry G. Cooper; grandfather “Poppa Bob” of
Monica (Furman) Doyle, Jamie Fanning, Heather Cooper, Aaron (Lindsey) Berry, Kirstie Berry, Shelli Dyches, Josie Dyches, and Austin Bell; and great grandfather of 14: Brantley, Brad, Brian, Allison, Hailey, Khloe, Collin, Kasen and Cruz. He was the brother of Jackie C. Branham and the late Helen C. Love.
Mr. Bobby was born in the Salley area of Orangeburg County to the late Barron and Eva Corbett Cooper.
Mr. Bobby was a Tool and Die Machinist for Whitman Mold in Orangeburg. He retired from Utica Tool and Koyo. Mr. Bobby was a jack of all trades who loved his family, especially Ms. Bea, affectionately called “Scooter”.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164. The Funeral Service will be held 5 pm Friday also in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Salley Oak View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Living Vine Worship Center at 2012 Prince Williams Road, Brunson, SC 29911.
