PAUL RITTER AHALT, 55, formerly of Middletown, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at his home on Anchor Fence Farm, near Sunshine in Montgomery County, where he had been farm manager for a year. While in ill health recently, his death was unexpected. He was a son of the late Charles W. and Pearl Boyer Ahalt, Frederick.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Middletown.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Holter Ahalt, and these brothers and sisters: Earl M. Ahalt, Burkittsville; Mrs. Hazel Mullendore, this city; Mrs. Arthur Huffer, Middletown; Mrs. Julia Ahalt, this city; Mrs. Carroll Boyer, near Middletown; Floyd Ahalt, Hanover, Pa.; Mrs. Carroll Magaha, Baltimore; Mrs. Raymond Gordon, Burkittsville; and Glenn Ahalt, Linden Hills.

Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home, Frederick; interment in Middletown Lutheran Cemetery.
