Mary Lou Leininger, 73, of Mason City, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Liberty Village in Clinton. She was born August 13, 1942, in Delavan, IL to George and Myrtle (Cremeens) Sanderson. She married Harold Leininger of Mason City on December 9, 1958.

Surviving family are two daughters: Teresa (Dave) Scott of Marathon, FL and Penny (Gary) Fink of Lincoln, IL. Six grandsons, one sister; Jessie Jones and one brother; George (Wilma) Sanderson.

Preceding her in death was her husband Harold Leininger of 39 years, son; John Leininger, her parents; George and Myrtle, a sister; Thelma Goeken and a brother; Bill Sanderson.

Mary Lou loved her family, enjoyed her flower beds and going fishing. She retired after 30+ years from Lehn and Fink Company, Lincoln, IL.

Wishes of Mary Lou, graveside services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Mason City Cemetery.
