J. L. (Bob) Charlton, 73, Rt. 3, Ellensburg, died Monday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born in Ellensburg, April 8, 1907. He married Clara Cowell in Ellensburg, June 2, 1935. They ranched in the Fairview District. His wife died June 17, 1977.
Mr. Charlton is survived by two sons, Jerry of Aberdeen and Ray of Ellensburg; two grandchildren, Bobby and Trista Charlton, both of Aberdeen.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evenson Chapel with the Rev. Bill Dietz officiating. Cremation will follow at Terrance Heights Memorial Park, Yakima.
The family suggests memorials to the Ellensburg Fire Department Paramedic Program.
