Angeline (Silvestri) Dascenzo, 97, of Moon Township, formerly of Aliquippa, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in the Mariner Health Care Center of West Hills.

Born Aug. 26, 1904, in Lyons, N.Y., a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Valicenti (family last name changed to Wilson), she was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, the Women's Guild, ISDA and the SOI. Mrs. Dascenzo was the owner of Jimmy and Henry's Restaurant located on Franklin Avenue in Aliquippa and was formerly employed by the Pittsburgh Mercantile Store (J&L, Aliquippa).

She was preceded in death by her spouses, Jim Silvestri and Patsy Dascenzo; three infant children; two sisters, Sarah Piroli and Carmella DeCarlo, and six brothers, James, Pete, Tony, Joseph, Louis and Albert Wilson.

Surviving are her loving daughter and her husband, Rita and Joseph Napoli, Moon Township; three grandchildren and their spouses, Maria Altrudo and Mike, Joseph Napoli Jr. and Sandra, and James Napoli and Karen; seven great-grandchildren, Michael and Christina Altrudo, and Laura, Jonathan, Rachel, Timothy and Rebecca Napoli; a sister, Theresa Oliver and her husband, Charles, Columbia, Md., and a brother, John Wilson and his wife, Josephine, Aliquippa.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the COPELAND MOON TOWNSHIP FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church, with Father John Ayoob officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Monaca.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity Hospice, LLC, 2020 Ardmore Blvd., Suite 210, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15221.
