Mr. Adams was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late Henry Virgil and Minnie Davis Adams. He was a graduate of Cornersville High School class of 1950 where he served as president. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Commerce Metals since 1972 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Humphrey, five brothers, Thomas Adams, Raymond Adams, Harold Adams, Vernon Adams, Roy Adams, half-brother, David Adams, and half-sister, Betty Grace Rooker.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
