Jack Pierce, 48, 1729 Miller Ave., died Tuesday in Denver, Colo., after a long illness. He was a 32-year resident of Burley and had been in Denver about two weeks.
He was born March 5, 1917 at Fort Collins, Colo., the son of Harry Francis Pierce and Louise Jessop Pierce. He was a member of the LDS church. In 1946 Mr. Pierce married Marian Lavon Vroman on Aug 17, 1946, in Elko, Elko, Nevada. They were later divorced.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Thelma Sweeney, Oakland, Calif.; one half brother, George Brennan, Ogden, Utah; a niece, three nephews, all of Burley.
Funeral services will be announced by McCulloch Funeral Home of Burley.
