He was born March 22, 1909 in Greencastle a son of the late John W. & Catherine Ketterman Carey.
Mr. Carey was a truck driver in New Jersey for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Levey Carey.
Surviving are three daughter, Lillian May Tzrone and Helen Carey, both of Norristown and Betty Hotz of Kansas; a number of grandchildren; tow sisters, Mary Eshelman and Charlotte Straley, both of Chambersburg; and four brothers, George W. of Shippensburg, Charles H. Sr., James F. and Leroy all of Chambersburg.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Lincoln Cemetery. The Rev. Arthur Brown will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
