Retired Store Manager Dies
Frank T. Daubenspeck of 2411 12th St., former manager of the B. F. Goodrich store in Altoona, died at 11.10 p.m. yesterday, May 15, 1969, at Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness.
He was born in North Washington, Butler County, a son of Campbell and Lida (Hutchinson) Daubenspeck, and married Virginia Donely in Cumberland, Md.
Surviving are his wife, three children, James C. of Barrington, Ill., Robert D. of Lake Forest, Ill., and Mrs. Walter Oswalt of Altoona; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother and two sisters, Clem of Woodbury, N.J., Mrs. Rosa S. Smith of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Howard Barnes of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Daubenspeck was a graduate of Grove City College, member of the First Lutheran Church and Mirpah Bible Class, a former member of the church council and a member of the Claysville F&AM Lodge, Altoona Consistory and Jaffa Shrine. He retired as manager of the Goodrich Store on Oct. 31, 1954.
Friends will be received in the Replogle Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7.30 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
