Hazel Louise Bridges Lyons, a resident of Baker, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at Harvest Manor in Denham Springs. She was 91, born Nov. 29, 1914, in Pelican in DeSoto Parish.
Those left to cherish her memory are two brothers, the Rev. R.T. Bridges of DeQuincy and Clifford C. Bridges of Springfield, Mass.; two sisters-in-law, Ernestine Bridges of Deville and Leita Bridges of Sulphur; nieces, Pat Mertz, Shirley Nugent, Betty Miller and Inez Lykins; nephews, Devonne, Wesley, Steve, John and Garry Bridges.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard "Bill" Lyons; parents, Franklin B. and Stella Odum Bridges; brothers, Bufford, Ray L., John C. and Clifton W. Bridges; sisters-in-law, Betty, Audie and Elaine Bridges; nephew, Frank Bridges; and niece, Judy Bridges Manfredi.
