"LeROY C. McCANN
"Masonic services will be held for LeRoy C. McCann, 74 of 7148 Orangethorpe, Space B-26, Buena Park, at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital Chapel in West Los Angeles. Burial will follow at Sawtelle Cemetery.
"Mr. McCann died July 7 at Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital following a long illness. He was born April 16, 1894, in Decatur, Mich. Mr. McCann was a retired Southern Pacific Railway switchman.
"He was a past commander of VFW Post 883, Los Angeles, and a member of Buena Park Maconic Lodge 357 F.A.M. (the organization that will conduct memorial rites). Mr. McCann was twice patron of Eastern Star, York Chapter, Huntington Park, and charter member of White Shrine Gold Scepter, Inglewood.
"He was a veteran of World War 1.
"He is survived by his widow, Dorothy; a son, Jack L., Canoga Park, a daughter, Mrs. Aaron McCoy, Montebello; a sister, Mrs. Samuel Snyder, Perris; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
"Renaker Mortuary is handling the arrangements."
