WILMA PAULSON SERVICES HELD FRIDAY, APRIL 20
Wilma G. Paulson, 68, died at the University hospitals in Iowa City Tuesday, April 17, 1973, after a lingering illness. She was born Wilma McGuire Oct. 21, 1904, In Linn, county, the daughter of Tullos and Minnie Jackson McGuire. She received her early education in the area schools and was, married to Ulrich Paulson in 1923. They made their home In Chicago for several years. Mr. Paulson preceded her in death in 1945. In 1951 she came to the Olin vicinity to make her home. She is survived by two children, Robert Paulson of Olin and Mrs. Gerald (Barbara) Wenthold of Rushford, Minn. Also surviving are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren and five brothers, Arthur McGuire and Louis McGuire of Olin, Willis McGuire of Stanwood, Clifford McGuire and Milton McGuire of Anamosa. in addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at the Goettsch Funeral home Friday morning, April 20, 1973, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William X. Smith of St. John's Lutheran church in Olin officiating. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery near Anamosa. Casket bearers were John Voss, Denis Paulson, Darrell Kading, Michael McGreevy, Howard Schellin and Robert Petersen.
