MADISON — Elizabeth V. Braun, age 95, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 1988, at a local nursing home. She was born on November 2, 1893, in Altoona, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Survivors include three children, Charlotte (Maurice) Matott, Winifred (Henry) Tapendorf, and Eva (Joseph) Davis; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, in 1960; two daughters, Betty Jane and Fern; and four grandchildren. She was the last of 13 children, and the last of the family. Funeral services will be held at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1204 St. James Court, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 19, 1988, with Father William DeBock officiating. Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery.
