Monroe Mashburn, 82, of Quincy, Wa passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at McKay Healthcare in Soap Lake, Wa. He was born December 7, 1933 in Frederick, OK. Attended Lang Consolidated School Dist. In Tillman County, OK graduating in 1952, married Jo Etta Neugebauer in 1952 and moved to Quincy, Wa in 1952. He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation for 16 years in water management. He was district watermaster for Chelan, Okanogan and Ferry County for 4 years, and secretary manager for 20+ years for Icicle Irrigation District in Cashmere, WA. Then he retired in 1992. He played for the next 15 years, then suffered for the next 8 years with COPD.

Monroe is survived by his wife Jo Etta of 64 years, one granddaughter Rachel Scott, 2 great-granddaughters Taija Zuidema and Natisha Scott, one great-grandson Khayyim Scott, and one great-great-granddaughter River Zuidema.

He was a member of Calvery Baptist Church in Brewster, Wa. Jesus lover, hope to meet you up there.
